AUTHOR PREPARATIONS AND REQUIRED INFORMATION KNOWLEDGE BEFORE SUBMITTING MANUSCRIPT TO US:

WE ARE ACCEPTING

• Books of Male/Male (MM), Male/Female (MF), Female/Female (FF), and Ménages. Poetry is on a book-by-book review.

• All categories of fiction.

• All writing styles (1st person, and so on)

• Story Collection/Anthologies and Themed Submissions are visible on our CALLS PAGE.

• Collaboration between two or more authors are accepted.

 

WORD COUNT REQUIREMENT 

• The Minimum Word Count for all Manuscript is 20,000 words. 

• To submit Manuscript below the minimum word count, visit our Calls Page.

• The Maximum word count for all Manuscript is unlimited.

• Print-on-Demand becomes automatic at 40,000 words.

 

ROYALTY & PAYMENT SCHEDULE

• ROYALTY PERCENTAGE:

40% of E-book price sold at Blazing Heart Publishing website.
30% of Publisher's E-book royalties received from distributors.

20% of Publisher's E-Read royalties received from distributors.
6% of Publisher's royalties received for print books.​

• ROYALTY PAYMENTS SCHEDULE:

Quarterly. Paid no more than 30 days after the end of each quarter once the payment threshold is reached. Payment threshold is $100.00

- January 1 to March 31 paid between April 25th to 30th.

- April 1 to June 30 paid between July 25th to 31st.

- July 1 to September 30 paid between October 25th to 31st.

- October 1 to December 30 paid between January 25th to 31st.

 

ROMANCE REQUIREMENT

• All stories must be well-written, with a good plot, a strong conflict and well resolved resolutions which must end in either; HFN (Happy For Now) or HEA (Happily Ever After)

• There are no restrictions on Sex Scenes.

• Books can be written in 1st or 3rd person but it must be consistent throughout the story.

 

RESTRICTIONS

• All Characters must be 18 years and above to engage in sex scenes & 20 years and above to engage in BSDM scenes

• We will NOT accept scenes of rape, sexual assaults and non-consensual sex. Such scenes cannot be explicitly described but could be referenced.

• We will NOT accept books that propagate and encourage racism, sexual, religious and any other type of discrimination

• We will NOT accept books solely based on erotica or sex scenes.

• We will NOT accept stories that end in death.

SUBMISSION CHECKLIST

• Manuscript sent to us must be complete and sent in WORD DOC. No partials will be considered.

• Manuscript must be both grammatically and spelling Error-Free.

• Manuscript Label: Author name - Book Title

• For Collaboration, Label Manuscript: First name of both authors - Book Title

• Format your Manuscript as such:

                  > single line spacing,

                  > NO TABS OR SPACES for paragraph indents!

                  > Use the paragraph formatting feature to indent you first line 0.5"

All submissions MUST include this questionnaire in the BODY of the EMAIL​. Submissions without this questionnaire will take longer to process and for you to hear back from us. We will naturally follow up with an email requesting you to send this questionnaire if you previously didn't before we can add your book to our queue.

MULTIPLE SUBMISSIONS

We accept Multiple Submissions and we will also accept as many submissions from the same author as you can whilst your current book is undergoing the decision making and/or publishing process.

COVER QUESTIONNAIRE

You will receive a cover questionnaire once your manuscript has been accepted by us and a contract has been signed.

​

AFTER SUBMISSION

You will receive an auto-response email from us regarding your submission status and information on our response time. Kindly note that due to the volume of submissions, if your submission does not adhere to our guidelines or contain a complete manuscript, it will be deleted.​

We urge all authors to adhere to our standards and the submission checklist. We understand that your submissions will require editing and other processes and will take those into consideration while making a decision about your submission.​
